| With an abundance of kid-approved fun on the island, Wrightsville Beach offers activities the whole family will enjoy during a summer beach vacation. Beginning June 7, learn about the island's diverse ecosystem at Touch Tank Tuesdays at the Fred and Alice Stanback Coastal Education Center. Then, stay for Turtle Talks where experts from the Wrightsville Beach Sea Turtle Project will be on-hand to discuss island efforts to protect the endangered sea turtles during nesting and hatching season.
