Five Best Summer Family Activities

There is still time to treat the family to a summer vacation in Kure Beach. Sea what’s swimming at the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher. Grab a rod and reel or just enjoy the views from the Kure Beach Fishing Pier. Take a break from the beach at Ocean Front Park, where the younger kids can play on a pirate ship while parents cool off on bench swings swaying in the sea breezes. Visit Fort Fisher State Recreation Area and discover winding maritime forest trails and six miles of undisturbed beach. Sport-loving families will want to stop by Joe Eakes Park with its fields, courts, 18-hole disc golf course and playground for the little ones. Make the most of summertime at Kure Beach.
